October 18, 2011 – Carestream is now shipping its new Dryview Chroma Imager, which just received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, to healthcare providers across the globe. This flexible printer outputs grayscale and color digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) images from most digital modalities onto Chroma Medical Film for diagnosis or Chroma Medical Paper for use by referring physicians and patients. The new Dryview Chroma Imager eliminates the need for multiple printers and minimizes operating costs with affordable consumables and low maintenance requirements.
