Breast imaging analytics company Densitas Inc. announced a new collaboration partnership with TeleMammography Specialists of Decatur, Ga. TeleMammography Specialists will be the first U.S. beta user for the new densitasquality solution from Densitas, which will be used to improve the communications and information sharing needed to meet EQUIP (Enhancing Quality Using the Inspection Program) guidelines. TeleMammography Specialists will also implement the recently released densitasdensity automated breast density assessment software.

The volume of neurosurgery — and revenues — rose steeply during the three-year phase in of VR at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, Calif., and the reason relates to VR, said neurosurgeon Robert G. Louis, M.D.


Philips announced the launch of IntelliSpace Cardiovascular 4.1, its next-generation cardiovascular image and information management system. The latest version builds on the existing pediatric reporting capabilities, recognizing the important and unique nature of the pediatric environment. Clinicians can now complete their workflows more efficiently in a web browser, while integration with Philips Forcare enables the sharing of patient data between health systems and hospitals. New features also include enhanced security, enterprise protocols and seamless access to Philips' QLab and Tomtec software tools.
