August 10, 2009 August 7, 2009 - Merge Healthcare and HealthPartners, a non-profit health organization in the nation, completed a project to integrate a radiology PACS from Merge with an electronic health record (EHR) solution from Epic. The new platform is now used at St. Paul-based Regions Hospital and across 18 HealthPartners outpatient clinics and medical offices.

August 3, 2009 - The Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), a national network of 51 imaging centers based in Minneapolis, Minn., signed a contract with Merge Healthcare to use Merge Mammo 7.2, the newest version of Merge’s breast imaging workstation software.
August 03, 2009 June 10, 2009 - Merge Healthcare today released MergeCOM-3 version 4.0, which incorporates the latest updates to the DICOM standard, as well as new interfacing capabilities using the HL7 standard. In health IT software development, DICOM provides the standard for medical image interoperability, whereas HL7 is the standard for information interoperability.
