Fysicon was one of the first to create this picture archive solution and has since gone on to control 85 percent of the Dutch market. More than 60 million images have been exchanged via the EVOCS image sharing technology.

September 8, 2011 — Naviscan announced it obtained CE Mark approval for its high-resolution positron emission tomography (PET) scanner and PET-guided biopsy accessory. The breast application of the scanner is positron emission mammography (PEM). September 6, 2011 – IT and medical technology company Sectra’s profit after net financial items for the company’s first quarter, May–July 2011, rose 25.6 percent to 16.2 million Swedish kronors corresponding to a profit margin of 9.6 percent. Sectra reports an operating profit of SEK 6.5 million and net sales of SEK 169.3 million. Order bookings rose 13.8 percent to SEK 190.8 million.
