Voyager PACS has implemented its Data Replication and Mirror Function that provides data and operational redundancy for imaging and hospital centers. This means that data loss can be prevented if there is an unrecoverable failure, as well providing business continuity if there is any server downtime at a site.
Voyager PACS servers can be configured for local storage at hospital sites with a replicated copy located at another location such as a data center. Images can be accessed for reporting or clinical viewing through either the local storage or at the replicated storage data center. Status changes on either server are updated back to each server. This configuration can also provides remote users (i.e. Radiologists, Clinical staff or Doctors) with fast access to images due to fast upload speeds out of data centers.
Voyager Mirror is designed to be highly configurable and can connect single or multiple sites to this data replication.
