As part of an ongoing partnership to deliver turnkey PACS solutions to the medical community, Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. and McKesson Corp. introduced Horizon Medical Imaging Store 100, a cost-effective mini-PACS solution, at the Radiological Society of North America’s annual meeting in Chicago this week.
This new mini-PACS solution, exclusively available for Toshiba products, enables smaller hospitals and imaging centers that don’t need an enterprise PACS system to store data in a manageable and cost-effective way. Store 100 offers the ability to store cases online safely and efficiently, without requiring an enterprise PACS system. However, should additional storage or a PACS system be necessary as the clinical practice expands, Store 100 can become the building block for full enterprise PACS capability. Store 100 is compatible with Toshiba’s CT and ultrasound products, including the Aquilion CT product line and the Aplio XG, Nemio XG and Xario ultrasound products.
