August 12, 2010 - A radiology quality (QA) assurance company has expanded its operations from St. Malo, Canada to Connecticut where the primary sales and marketing efforts are being developed across the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
DISC manufactures the QA Radchex and QA Mamchex meters to check and document the performance of mammography and general radiology machines and compare computed radiography to film/screen systems.
The company is working with many prominent physicists to help bring new products to market. It also began attending several exhibitions to address several markets, including biomedical, X-ray service industry, radiation inspectors, military, medical physicists and OEM's. DISC is attending RSNA in November with the release of a new digital radiography product.
