The Philips IntelliSpace Portal is an advanced visualization solution designed to simplify the way radiologists work, think and care for patients by delivering on the promise of real-time radiology. IntelliSpace Portal consolidates the images and information needed to make informed decisions. Introduced on IntelliSpace Portal for 2012 is an expanded portfolio of advanced nuclear medicine (NM) and computed tomography (CT) applications. These applications enhance the already-available rich set of CT, NM, magnetic resonance (MR) and multi-modality clinical applications on IntelliSpace Portal. Radiologists can access, analyze, diagnose, collaborate on and present a wealth of CT, MR and NM studies from any networked device or their PACS (picture archiving and communications system) — all in real time.

Often, when radiologists seek the expert opinion of specialists to help with difficult cases, finding a time and place for joint review can be challenging. IntelliSpace Portal Web Collaborator allows radiologists and specialists to engage in interactive two-way meetings online. Users can initiate a session via email or online chat. Colleagues will see the same application screen, the same image and have access to the same annotation tools for true collaborative consultation. Portal Web Collaborator is a zero-client (Web-browser based) cross-platform tool.

The IntelliSpace Portal single server, multimodality visualization solution helps standardize exam review across the enterprise. Now the office desktop, PACS workstation, laptop and portable device* can become an access point. Based on Philips' Extended Brilliance WorkSpace, IntelliSpace Portal employs an easy-to-experience user interface that allows access to a wide variety of applications designed to support quick and quantitative diagnosis.
