At SIIM 2008, Cerner will feature its ProVision PACS, which aims to provide a set of user-customizable image-analysis and manipulation tools. Optional capabilities include native 3D and new orthopedic planning and mammography packages.
The Cerner ProVision PACS workstations allow users to generate continued returns from legacy modality investments with support for widely used DICOM standards, enable synchronization of patient and study information between modalities, including the RIS, PACS and voice recognition and decrease turnaround report time from hours or days to mere minutes.
