November 18, 2009 - As radiology drives imaging toward the electronic medical record (EMR), a new PACS offering for EMR, HIS and Practice Management vendors fully integrates the complete range of medical images with EMR software of almost any kind.

INFINITT Accent allows PACS-based medical images to be accessed along with all other types of medical information on any Internet-enabled terminal. It is already deployed at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway (RWJUHR), a 265-bed acute care, community hospital in N.J.

By providing access to the full range of medical images through a Web-browser, INFINITT Accent addresses many of the challenges healthcare providers face in marrying current and historical patient information with the high resolution imagery being generated throughout a modern medical facility to create a complete patient medical record.

INFINITT Accent offers fast image loading, a light-weight viewer application and simple and automatic deployment. It complements existing PACS through DICOM, HL7, IHE and HIPPA compliant protocols.
