April 10, 2013 — Intelerad Medical Systems announced the availability of a Frost & Sullivan analysis detailing the strengths of their medical imaging workflow solutions. The analysis was written in conjunction with Frost & Sullivan’s investigation of the medical imaging workflow solutions market, which led to Intelerad winning the 2013 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award for North America Entrepreneurial Company of the Year.
The analysis highlights Intelerad’s launch of new products designed to optimize medical imaging workflows in distributed medical imaging environments, particularly multi-site ambulatory facilities. These criteria include growth strategy and excellence; growth implementation excellence; degree of innovation with products and technologies; leadership in customer value; and speed of response to market needs.
"Intelerad’s newly introduced products are highly innovative in that they respond to emerging market needs for more efficient workflow solutions and effective ways of communication," said Frost & Sullivan Principal Analyst Nadim Daher, noting that that Intelerad’s upgraded portfolio places the company at the forefront of emerging trends in the imaging informatics space. "Improved communication will foster collaboration among imaging stakeholders, while simultaneously facilitating peer review processes, and knowledge and image sharing."

- Intelerad’s Flow Enterprise Diagnostics Solution, which provides intuitive diagnostic experiences across streamlined workflows;
- InteleConnect Clinical Hub, a referring physicians portal that provides access to any internal or third-party picture archive and communications system (PACS) or digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) archive, using desktop Web browsers, mobile devices, or even a streamlined iOS app;
- Nuage Disaster Recovery Services, which provide hosted solutions for data archiving and disaster recovery for hospitals and ambulatory imaging providers.
"At Intelerad, our goal is to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of medical imaging professionals in both ambulatory and hospital settings," said Randall Oka, Intelerad's president and CEO.
