June 7, 2007 - A new PACS solution specifically designed for the nation’s fastest growing radiology market, the RadSuite Express from Emageon is geared toward small to mid-sized hospitals and clinics producing less than 80,000 radiology studies per year. The simplified Web-enabled, single-server solution is based on Dell technology.

These facilities will now be able to install and start using a top-ranked PACS in days. RadSuite Express will give specialists and referring physicians in these smaller facilities access to the same high-end, multi-disciplinary 3-D imaging tools used by radiology, orthopedic and emergency specialists in high-ranking facilities, such as The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Imaging best practices, optimized hanging protocols and workflow capability experience are all part of the RadSuite Express solution.

According to Emageon, Dell’s industry-leading e-commerce capability simplifies purchasing, allowing customers to quick-start their PACS operations through Emageon or by ordering the RadSuite Express solution from the www.dell.com Web site.
