Cleome, ImageDrive highlighted at RSNA 2013
January 8, 2014 — ClearCanvas Inc., developer, manufacturer and supplier of imaging informatics infrastructure solutions, highlighted two informatics solutions at the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting (RSNA 2013) in Chicago.
"Both solutions are designed to increase access to patient images, optimize efficiencies and ultimately improve patient outcomes," said Clinton Chau, founder and CEO, ClearCanvas.
Vendor Neutral Enterprise PACS
Designed to increase access to images across the healthcare enterprise, ClearCanvas's Cleome features a proprietary, zero footprint HTLM5 diagnostic universal viewer. Cleome pairs the viewer with the vendor neutral Cleome image server for image archiving, retrieval and distribution. The fully integrated solution enables management and viewing of all modalities, including breast tomosynthesis, on both stationary and mobile devices. Ensuring access to providers outside the primary enterprise, Cleome's referring physician's web portal also includes an HTML5 viewer for access to images and reports.
Imaging Catalog System
ClearCanvas's ImageDrive brings structured independence to the growing amount of images and associated files outside of the traditional production-reading environment with catalog technology. ImageDrive features a fully integrated owner-defined organizing, viewing and sharing system.
Designed to realize compounding efficiencies for users, ImageDrive brings together multiple projects to a centralized archive while allowing users to work within a private area. The integrated HTML5 workspace and viewer allow the user to efficiently manage their images and files. This technology includes features such as de-identification, arbitrary tagging, workgroups and image sharing. ImageDrive can be used in a variety of settings for a multitude of use cases in areas such as research, industry and academia.
Integrated RIS/PACS
ClearCanvas RIS/PACS, Team Edition and ClearCanvas PACS, Team Edition offer a full picture and archiving communication system (PACS) system. Configurable as either an integrated radiology information system (RIS)/PACS solution or as a PACS, TeamEdition is powered with a full set of diagnostic tools and provides a smooth user experience for clinicians, technologists, administrators and referring physicians.
Open Source Development Platform
The ClearCanvas open source development platform is available on Github under the GPLv3 license. This platform has accelerated commercialization and features a variety of commercial products. The open source code base includes an image server, workstation and basic RIS function.
