The DRX-LC Detector features faster long-length exams with a single exposure

The DRX-LC Detector features faster long-length exams with a single exposure

July 10 2023 — Carestream Health unveiled new, innovative and feature-rich medical imaging technologies that help boost both patient and provider experience as well as improve diagnostic confidence, while helping facilities stay within budget at The Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) 2023 (#711) July 9-12.

Among these new introductions is the DRX-LC Detector. It can capture high-quality, long-length images of legs or spine can be difficult – especially with pediatric patients or patients with limited mobility who find it hard to remain still for an extended period of time. The DRX-LC Detector allows capture of long-length images with a single exposure, while reducing patient dose; saving exam time and speeding workflow; decreasing retakes; and allowing a higher level of patient comfort.
