March 15, 2007 - AT&T Inc. announced an agreement to upgrade the conference platform used by Medical Information Technology Inc. (MEDITECH). The migration to AT&T's new audio and video Web-conference services occurs two years into a wide-ranging agreement for AT&T's networking services with MEDITECH. Specific terms of the new contract were not disclosed.
AT&T's solution allows MEDITECH to train new and prospective customers
around the country and around the world through AT&T's Web-conferencing system. AT&T's dedicated-server architecture gives MEDITECH unmatched flexibility and control over conferencing activities while retaining the world-class security and redundancy provided by an AT&T solution.
The new conference capability will enable MEDITECH to expand the
Web-based training sessions to new, current and potential clients. MEDITECH
continues to reduce unnecessary travel for its staff and customers through
the growth of its Online Seminar program.
