November 3, 2017 — Altamont Software Inc. this week completed implementation of CaptureWare at Quantum Imaging and Therapeutic Associates in Pennsylvania. CaptureWare provides a virtual print interface that allows any Windows application to print directly to any DICOM-compliant system. By utilizing zero-footprint, browser-based technology, CaptureWare eliminates the need to manage thick-client application software on each desktop in the facility.
"With Altamont CaptureWare, we were able to deploy faster, at more locations and at a lower cost than our previous solution,” said Cristy Klunk, director of teleradiology services at Quantum.
In addition to virtual print, CaptureWare provides apps to scan clinical documents, import non-radiology images, and upload outside DICOM CDs to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS) or electronic health record (EHR).
Altamont will be demonstrating CaptureWare alongside their full suite of connectivity applications at the upcoming 2017 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting, Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago.
