May 11, 2007 - Agfa HealthCare will be demonstrating the latest works in progress of IMPAX 6.3, its Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), part of Agfa’s integrated RIS/PACS/Reporting solution, at SIIM, June 7-10 in Providence, RI.

IMPAX 6.3 provides tools and customizable workflows designed to help healthcare organizations overcome the physical barriers of complex multi-site environments. Tools such as multi-site data synchronization, access to reports from across the enterprise and the management of multiple distinct patient ID domains, provide a virtual view of a patient’s imaging record from anywhere internet access is available, all on a single desktop. This single image-management and storage solution could reduce the number of workstation applications for the staff to learn. It also provides single-user management benefits and a reduction in disparate modality workstations, saving time and money.
