June 11, 2012 — Calgary Scientific Inc. has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market its ResolutionMD Web 2.9 Vessel Analysis module for post-processing diagnostic review and analysis of patient computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
Once an emerging technology confined to early adopters, server-based advanced visualization has gradually become a more popular solution in the medical imaging informatics marketplace in the last few years. This has carried on to the point that it can today be deemed the de facto standard for advanced visualization in medical imaging enterprises.
September 27, 2011 – Calgary Scientific Inc. has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market medical imaging application, ResolutionMD Mobile, as a mobile diagnostic application in the United States. With this secure, highly scalable, server-based software solution, physicians anywhere can rapidly access, view and interact with patient images and reports stored within any healthcare facility, and render a clinical diagnosis using their mobile devices. Prior non-diagnostic versions of this product are currently distributed and licensed under original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreements with global leaders in medical imaging and information technology. In addition to the recent FDA clearance, ResolutionMD Mobile has also been licensed by Health Canada and bears the CE mark for distribution in Europe.
December 1, 2010 – A secure advanced visualization application lets physicians access and view critical patient information from anywhere via a Web browser or mobile device. ResolutionMD 2.5, by Calgary Scientific, utilizes the company’s PureWeb technology to ensure that patient information is never duplicated or retained on the device.
February 4, 2009 - Calgary Scientific Inc. launched the multi patent-pending PureWeb Platform, a medical application platform designed to enable both Calgary Scientific’s ResolutionMD products and third-party applications to be delivered over the web.
