July 11, 2016 — The Chicago Zoological Society (CZS), which manages Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield, Ill., is now home to the world’s most advanced medical diagnostic imaging suite with the addition of a computed tomography (CT) scanner and C-arm fluoroscopy unit. The equipment further enhances the Dr. Aurelio M. Caccomo Imaging Suite located at the zoo’s Animal Hospital.

July 8, 2016 — Richardson Healthcare announced the new Image Systems N-Series family of diagnostic displays with models available in 2, 3, and 5MP formats. The display line features the C5MPn, a 5MP color display for breast imaging and multimodality viewing on a full color monitor.

Richardson showcased the new series at the 2016 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting, June 29-July 1 in Portland, Ore.
