Franklin Wilfred Sequeira, M.D.
June 13, 2020 — The radiology industry is saddened to learn of the passing of another leader to COVID-19. Franklin Wilfred Sequeira, M.D., 72, of Cicero, Ind., passed away June 1, 2020. He was just short of celebrating his 40th year working with Radiology of Indiana as an interventional radiologist, never missing a day of work. He was also a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield.
Sequeira, completed a residency at IU Health University in Indianapolis, and was affiliated with Community Hospital South, also in Indianapolis. He was board certified in diagnostic radiology.
He was born in Mangalore, India, on March 13, 1948, to the late Sylvester Bartholomew and Laetitia (D’Costa) Sequeira. He is survived by his wife, Deeya; children, Stephanie, Brittany, Valerie, Sean, Claire, Ian and Brooklynn; two grandchildren; and siblings Walter, Oswald, Richard and Hazel.
