HDM provides teleradiology services across Latin America

HDM World Selects PowerServer Cloud PACS for Teleradiology Services

September 30, 2019 — HDM World is a growing teleradiology service provider catering to all specialists, subspecialists, hospitals and clinics in Latin America. Their vision, as their name suggests, is to provide teleradiology services worldwide. To support their teleradiology business model and expand their services globally, they chose RamSoft’s PowerServer PACS (picture archiving and communication system) on the cloud and Gateway DICOM Router as their systems of choice.

Radiologists working remotely on their own systems was a major challenge that HDM faced. They wanted to unify worklists and centralize images for their radiologists. “We were looking for an intuitive, FDA [U.S. Food and Drug Administration]-compliant, truly cloud-based system that would work with our business model, allowing us to transmit images securely and fast no matter the distance. With RamSoft’s cloud-based PACS we are assured of that in addition to the scalability and prompt support,” said Juan Pablo Reyes Gonzalez, M.D., chief operating officer, HDM World.

Being a web-based application, PowerServer allows radiologists to access images from anywhere, which improves report turn-around times. For patients, getting quicker access to their reports means quicker diagnosis.
