November 11, 2015 — Novarad has released version 8.4 of its NovaPACS (picture archiving and communication system) software and will be presenting it at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) annual meeting, Nov. 29-Dec. 4 in Chicago.

NovaPACS 8.4 introduces many new features, including a new menu and tool palette for their enterprise viewer, called the ProRadius Menu. The new release also includes access to Nova3D+ advanced visualization complete with vessel metrics and virtual colonoscopy, among other features.

Another way in which the company has worked to increase radiology efficiency and productivity is its Lifetime Upgrades program. According to Novarad Senior VP Paul Shumway, the company includes all upgrades and support in the price of its software contracts. For example, current customers will now have access to the new 8.4 software upgrade.
