June 17, 2011 –Intelerad Medical Systems today announced that three large radiology practices in the United States have adopted InteleOne to streamline medical imaging workflows and accelerate business growth.

Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group Inc, Jefferson Radiology PC, and Milwaukee Radiologists Ltd. will use InteleOne to report multi-modality studies from multiple sites with disparate PACS and RIS. They will employ InteleOne’s worklist and viewer, as well as its multi-method reporting and result distribution capabilities, to increase efficiency and enhance patient care.

These customers, three of the 50 largest private radiology practices in the United States according to the 2010 Radiology Business Journal survey, manage a total of more than 2 million procedures annually.  Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group Inc. in California, a group of 56 radiologists, has ownership in five imaging centers and serves eleven hospitals performing over 1 million radiological procedures per year. Jefferson Radiology PC is a Connecticut-based group with 50 radiologists, nine imaging centers, and four hospital contracts with 625,000 radiological procedures each year. Milwaukee Radiologists Ltd is a 35-radiologist group in Wisconsin, serving two imaging centers and four hospitals with procedure volumes exceeding 500,000 annually.

Radiology groups are employing InteleOne to better manage sub-specialties, expand coverage, offer 24/7 services, and easily add new reading sites. InteleOne provides each radiologist a personalized, highly productive reading environment.
