June 9, 2008 – Electronic health records maker MediNotes Corp. said it added 199 new software agreements with new and existing medical practice customers during the first six months of 2008.

These organizations selected the company’s EHR solutions as well as new practice management (PM) capabilities, to enhance practice workflow and seamlessly integrate with existing software.

Listed below are a few of the new and existing customers who signed software agreements during the first and second quarters of 2008:
- Mille Lacs Health System, Onamia, MN – 34 total users
- Omaha Eye and Laser Institute, Omaha, NE – 47 total users
- Liberty Urgent Care, Middletown, OH - 15 total users
- Pediatric Family M.D., Flushing, NY – 26 total users

Additionally, MediNotes has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Healthcare IT Companies by Healthcare Informatics in its June 2008 edition. The 15th annual survey ranked companies based on their 2007 healthcare IT revenue.

MediNotes Clinician EHR/PM software was also awarded first place for the second consecutive year at the TEPR Pediatrics Award, sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Clinical Information Technology. The awards focused on disease management and functionality specified in the CCHIT certification from 2006 and 2007.

MediNotes has been installed in more than 4,800 sites nationwide and is utilized daily by more than 23,000 medical professionals.
