July 10, 2009 - Intelerad Medical Systems, an industry-leading PACS solution vendor, installed its InteleOne solution at Diversified Radiology of Colorado (DRC) to consolidate its image and patient data from multiple PACS and RIS systems into a streamlined, single workflow solution.
Prior to InteleOne, radiologists at DRC read from over a dozen different PACS. With the introduction of InteleOne, they now have the ability to use a single worklist and viewer to report for all of the sites in their network. The initial phase of the InteleOne implementation unifies the worklists of five DRC imaging facilities: St. Vincent General Hospital, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics in Edwards, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics in Frisco, Durango Orthopedics, and Rocky Mountain Cancer Center (RMCC)
With RMCC, DRC has the added ability to receive DICOM images and HL7 orders, automatically pre-fetch prior studies and seamlessly distribute HL7 reports into RMCC’s RIS. This additional functionality increases report turnaround time by eliminating the need for transmission via traditional methods such as fax and scans. The result is a more streamlined process for DRC and RMCC.
