The new Gammex 156D Stereotactic Mammographic Accreditation Phantom is designed to test the performance of digital mammographic systems currently used for stereotactic biopsy and localization by a quantitative evaluation of the system’s ability to image small structures similar to those found clinically.
The Gammex 156D can help determine if mammographic systems can detect small structures that are important in the early detection of cancer. The phantom is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
