December 15, 2008 – Manatee Healthcare System Florida has selected the IT and medical-technology company Sectra as their PACS provider for a five-year agreement in which Sectra will supply PACS products and direct service and support to the Manatee Healthcare System.
The contract with Manatee Healthcare System shows that Sectra’s exceptional service and product performance continue to be validated by healthcare organizations across the US.

Manatee Healthcare System, which includes Manatee Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, and Lakewood Ranch Imaging Center, conducting more than 160,000 radiology examinations annually, has served the Manatee County community for over 55 years. Manatee Healthcare System is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the largest hospital management companies in the U.S. Manatee Memorial Hospital recently received the coveted UHS Service Excellence Award for 2007 as recognition for outstanding performance.
