July 1, 2008 - Twenty-two medical centers spanning rural Kansas have transformed their environments from paper and film to digital images and computer-based scheduling with PACS and RIS technologies from NovaRad, aiming for enhanced patient service and streamlined image reading and reporting.
NovaPACS provides screen viewing and mouse-based functions, giving users access to images and reports from any computer, according to the company. Developed from the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS, a Web-based, open standards RIS, generates reports, analyzes exams, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
