May 7, 2008 - Intelerad Medical Systems entered into a partnership with SENCOR to provide its patented PACStacks disc burner appliance, which automates the creation of DICOM CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs, aiming to simplify medical image distribution as well as long term disaster recovery protection.

PACStacks users can create DICOM-compliant discs that contain both the patient medical image data combined with the Intelerad-formatted diagnostic report. Other time saving features include the automatic labeling of discs with customized patient demographics, importing of DICOM Part 10 compatible CDs/DVDs and inclusion of selectable viewers to allow radiologists and referring physicians to review images remotely.

SENCOR is a provider of DICOM storage, distribution and disaster recovery solutions used in over 1,500 hospitals, imaging centers and teleradiology facilities worldwide.
