Intelerad Marks 500 IntelePACS Installations

March 20, 2008 - Intelerad Medical Systems surpassed 500 installations of its IntelePACS, a comprehensive enterprise-level PACS for hospitals, imaging centers and teleradiology practices.

IntelePACS offers the DICOM Site License, allowing users to query additional PACS or any other external DICOM source using InteleViewer Enterprise, the native IntelePACS viewer that allows for spine labeling with 3D coordinates, so labels can be seen in any other series at the corresponding position, according to the company.

Intelerad’s InteleViewer has a dual-mode viewing application included with IntelePACS, that reportedly offers rapid performance and intuitive interface for users. Features for InteleViewer include freehand and volume ROI measurements, orthogonal measurement, Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA), thumbnail tabs for reportedly easy access to comparison studies, ability to save a study using DICOM Presentation State and real-time cine support for cardiac applications.
