January 29, 2008 - Amicas signed more than 60 new contracts in 2007, including seven for Vision Series Financials, AMICAS' next generation radiology management and billing software system, designed to automate revenue cycle management for radiology groups, imaging centers, multispecialty practices and billing services.
Vision Reach is a distribution tool and portal designed specifically for referring physicians, and Vision Series Financials is a modern Windows-based platform. The new contracts establish partnerships with a variety of radiology groups, imaging centers, teleradiology businesses, multi-pecialty groups and hospitals. Several of these customers have signed multiproduct contracts.
AMICAS also signed its first RadStream contract in Q3 2007 with St. Mary's Health Care System of Athens, GA. RadStream is a next generation software product designed to streamline the communication of, and mitigate the risks associated with, communicating critical results to referring physicians.
