December 1, 2007 – Candelis featured ImageGrid RIS (IG RIS), its newly expanded radiology information system (RIS) built on its ImageGrid PACS appliance designed to streamline and improve workflow in a radiology environment.
The IG RIS is a web-enabled application residing on the PACS appliance to allow radiologists, technologists and staff to better access patient data and information from a single platform, reaching any workstation on a LAN, WAN or VPN connection.
The RIS reportedly captures every process from patient registration to final report delivery. Order-based scheduling allows multiple procedures to be schedule simultaneously. It includes built-in template based reporting with single-click X.509 Digital Certificate signing, printing, faxing and exporting to PDF capabilities.
