October 29, 2007 – AMICAS Inc. announced today that it has signed a new enterprise agreement with Radiology Ltd. of Tucson, AZ, allowing the company to complement their existing PACS system with the entire suite of AMICAS radiology automation products, including systems to support scheduling, report production, document management and comprehensive revenue cycle management.

Radiology Ltd. will complement their existing Vision Series PACS deployment with both Vision Reach and RadStream. Vision Reach is a distribution tool and portal designed specifically for referring physicians. RadStream makes possible the automation and documentation of critical results communication and the prioritization of imaging exams based on a "most likely to interrupt" method.

Under the terms of the agreement, Radiology Ltd. will replace their legacy RIS and billing solutions with the Vision Series RIS and Vision Series Financials platforms, respectively. These solutions reportedly leverage modern technology to automate the complex scheduling and revenue cycle management needs of radiology practices.

Radiology Ltd. will complete their AMICAS solution suite with Insight Dashboards, a Web-based business intelligence platform designed to provide access to customized graphical data for key performance metrics and indicators. Insight Dashboards provide the ability to evaluate clinical factors such as technologist productivity, as well as operational factors including asset efficiency or accounts receivable aging, according to the company.
