CoActiv will introduce at RSNA its EXAM-RIS, a fully Web-based radiology information system (RIS), integrated with its Web-based enterprise EXAM-PACS. The New RIS includes single and multisite scheduling, multisite billing capabilities, patient information and charting (EMR), document scanning, transcription and more.
At RSNA, CoActiv EXAM-PACS will become not only filmless but also completely paperless for new efficiencies. EXAM, the new comprehensive electronic workflow supports complete remote exam interpretation and reporting for the ever-growing number of CoActiv EXAM-NET Tele-Radiology users. Built-in EXAM-PACS software supports scanning with any TWAIN-compliant single or multisheet scanner. This feature comes standard on EXAM-PACS and is provided as a free upgrade to existing users.
CoActiv will also debut automatic color-coding for both its Search and Worklist windows. Now all pending exam reads and studies acquired within a six-hour time window are displayed in green. Following this, exams change colors as they age with progressive updates at 12, 18 and 24 hours. Colors and time cycles are configurable individually by location. This color-coding, coupled with new unlimited exam list display filters, provides radiologists with a customizable worklist, which is accessible in a single mouse click.
