Merge eMed Focuses Presence on RIS/PACS

Merge eMed has upgraded its RIS/PACS solution. With Fusion RIS/PACS MX, a radiologist can readily view all the information needed to read a case within a single application. The FUSION RIS/PACS MX also has workflow tools such as embedded dictation, interrupt sessions, instant messaging and hanging protocols all available with minimal clicks.
Fusion PACS MX has features like: the ability to load thousands of studies simultaneously with a new 64-bit application; radiologist-centric tools like multiple interrupt sessions instant messaging capabilities, key images, MIP/MPR and teaching files; flexible image management and archiving; and more.
The company will highlight new features to the Fusion RIS, including a new Call Center Scheduler module, which reportedly allows schedulers to create and save more appointments in less time and with less effort; and real-time dashboard analytics.
