Workshop on Creating Human Simulation Strategies is Aug 12-14

June 17, 2008 - Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions will host a three-day workshop, “Developing, Financing and Implementing the Standardized Patient Experience in Nursing Education,” for nursing educators Aug. 12-14, 2008

The workshop will be held at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia. Topics include the nuts and bolts of constructing and financing a human simulation program; implementing the national safety initiatives in nursing education using a human simulation experience; developing standardized patient cases and evaluation criteria and training; and using patient actors for human simulation.

University of Toronto Partners With IMS for Emergency Radiology Simulation

International Medical Solutions (IMS) and the University of Toronto Department of Medical Imaging have signed a partnership agreement to assess the performance of diagnostic radiology residents using IMS Web Viewer within a simulated Emergency Radiology environment.
