October 22, 2007 - An educational program developed by the International Society for Biological Therapy of Cancer (iSBTc) will take place in Boston on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at the Seaport World Trade Center.

The “Workshop on Future Opportunities for Combination Biological Therapy of Cancer” will address relevant and exciting new opportunities for creating and implementing combination therapies in the field of oncology.

The workshop promotes a scientific discussion about the recent advances utilizing biologic agents in the treatment of cancer and looks to facilitate interaction and collaboration between laboratory and clinical investigators.

"This exciting program will bring together key stakeholders from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies in the U.S. and Europe to engage in essential dialogue regarding key scientific opportunities in the clinical development of combination therapies using cancer biologics, as well as central challenges that may limit our progress in the field," says Jon M. Wigginton, M.D., iSBTc President and Workshop Co-Organizer. "The Workshop will also address what has become a major strategic consideration for the field of oncology and highlights the commitment of the iSBTc to playing a leadership role in this area."
