Viztek Inc., a developer of healthcare IT applications and reseller of medical imaging hardware, has announced the sale of its 850th Orex computed radiography (CR) scanner to Atlantic Radiology of Brooklyn, NY. Viztek markets line of Orex devices, which come equipped with Vista’s Onyx-RAD mini-PACS, across a full range of medical specialties including radiology, orthopedics and chiropractics.
The Orex scanner meets a full range of clinical applications calling for compact, economical, high-quality onsite X-ray technology. The Orex product line was purchased in 2005 Eastman Kodak Co., which continues to market the complete CR line and maintain the Orex brand name.
