Toshiba recently released its Infinix VF-I-SP, a single-plane floor-mounted cardiovascular system with multi-access positioner. Toshiba has also recently introduced new Advanced Image Processing (AIP). The AIP technology, which is made for its Infinix X-Ray product line, is designed to give clinicians better visualization of the smallest interventional devices. Toshiba said the benefits of AIP technology include programmable image display, reduction of background noise, improved device and vessel visualization, improved resolution in dark areas and improved dynamic range.
