April 17, 2008 – TeraRecon formed TeraRecon GmbH, registered in Frankfurt, Germany, a wholly owned subsidiary of TeraRecon Inc., and the new European headquarters for TeraRecon, looking to establish a European headquarters to provide a center of business operations for growing European marketplace.

This new formation was created to support already-existing operations in over 15 European countries.

The company’s flagship product line, Aquarius iNtuition, is a system for advanced 3D visualization of medical Imaging examinations obtained by Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanners, among other medical Imaging modalities. The iNtuition workflow mantra is “Automate, Validate and Read.” The AquariusAPS server provides real-time automatic pre-processing to perform routine tasks and prepare the case for human interaction. During the validation step, a technologist or physician reviews the work done so far to validate its accuracy. This leads to optimal interpretation with the minimum time requirement from a busy physician.
