September 23, 2009 – Virtual Radiologic Corp., a leading global provider of teleradiology services, will exhibit at the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) Critical Access Hospital Conference to be held October 7-9, 2009 in Portland, Ore.
The NRHA’s Critical Access Hospital Conference is one of the largest events of the year dedicated specifically to rural health clinic and critical access hospital administrators, leadership and staff. Virtual Radiologic is committed to serving the health care needs of rural America and proud to have been selected as the Provider of Choice for teleradiology services for the NRHA’s Services Corporation.
Working in partnership with local radiologists whose resources are often stretched too thin in rural areas, Virtual Radiologic’s teleradiology services provide an efficient and cost-effective way to help alleviate inequitable access to health care caused by geography. With over 100 fellowship-trained radiologists, the Company can provide subspecialty care to patients in small rural hospitals who often would not otherwise have access.
Marcus McLemore, corporate accounts manager for Virtual Radiologic, will lead a session titled “Ease of Access to Quality Health Care” on Thursday, October 8 at 12:00 p.m.
Virtual Radiologic will exhibit from Booth #104 of the NRHA 2009 Critical Access Hospital Conference.
