October 21, 2013 — Swissray International, Inc. a manufacturer of direct digital radiography (ddR) systems, announced that they sold a ddR system to Swedish American Health System in Rockford, Ill., bringing the total to four DR systems at the location.
“The Swissray equipment is very intuitive and easy to use for my staff,” said Brian Johnson, manager of medical imaging, Swedish American. “The image quality has impressed our radiologists and referring physicians as well. Our most recent purchase of the ddRFormula Plus fit our space and technology needs perfectly”.
Swissray also sold the ddRFormula Plus to Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colo. and to Princeton Orthopaedic Associates in Princeton, N.J.
“Swissray equipment has always intrigued me with the simple versatility of it,” said Lois Heater, director of diagnostic imaging, Longmont United. “I wanted a unit that would work well for all types of patients, whether ambulatory or wheelchair-bound.
