Sorna Creates Automated DISC Production

Sorna Corp. will bring to RSNA its eXpedo XR1, reportedly the smallest automated DISC (CD/DVD) production system on the market. The system utilizes inkjet technology for printing directly on a DISC. To minimize space requirements, an LCD display and six-key keypad are integrated into the server, which fits directly on top of the robotics system, according to the commpany.

The XR1 is designed for imaging centers, outpatient clinics and small radiology departments.

Sorna will also feature its eXpedo, reportedly the highest performing automated DISC (CD/DVD) production system, per square-inch, on the market. The system utilizes inkjet technology for printing directly on a DISC.
