Zoll offers tools for identification and transmission of data to identify and direct STEMI patients to the right hospital.

Its defibrillators, like the E Series with 12-lead, reportedly offer a variety of transmission solutions that can be tailored to an infrastructure and budget. The system’s Data Relay provides connectivity from the field to the hospital via fax or email, and can wirelessly transmit to your PDA so you can make an assessment no matter the time or place, said Zoll.

If a patient arrests in the cath lab, or arrives in intractable VF-VT, both vascular access and myocardial and cerebral perfusion can be a real concern. AutoPulse, a load-distributing band compression device, delivers perfusion so that a pedal pulse can be detected in asystolic patients, aiding access, according to Zoll.
