Siemens to Unveil Affordable, Advanced Ultrasound System at RSNA 2014

September 29, 2014 — Siemens Healthcare will debut the Acuson X600, a cost-effective ultrasound system that offers enhanced image quality and reliability, at the 2014 annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Engineered around an advanced imaging engine, it delivers performance above its price class for general imaging and OB/GYN. Ultra-sensitive wideband transducers, including new lightweight 3-D/4-D transducers for women's imaging, improve image resolution and penetration.

Advanced workflow solutions such as ergonomic design, QuikStart rapid boot, wireless data transfer and tissue grayscale optimization enhance efficiency before, during and after the procedure. The Acuson X600 system will benefit from Siemens pioneering technologies to evolve and adapt for years of service.
