Resonance Technology Company Inc. will introduce its new CinemaVision lightweight headset that integrates video display and audio systems into a single unit. The headset delivers a resolution of 240,000 pixels for each of the two displays to reportedly provide high-quality, realistic video. It provides quality digital stereo sound with a passive noise-attenuation technology and an intercom for ongoing communication between patient and technologist.
Also being introduced to CinemaVision is a range of features aiming to provide enhanced flexibility for users. Innovations reportedly allow anxious patients to see the reassuring face of technologists and communicate with them during the scanning process. Stereo sound level now also may be adjusted by patients directly from within the magnet. Additionally, technologists can select their own virtual entertainment during the scanning process, independent of a patient’s choice.
The company will also showcase its new FuncLAB, an fMRI solution for clinical practices and academic applications. FuncLAB combines a complete functional imaging task presentation component featuring high quality 3D graphics and sound capabilities with a fully automated data processing component.
