The ORBIT PT automates the patient transport process by allowing one-nurse, one-button and no-lifting transfer of patients from their bed to the OR table and back.
Using the remote control or control panel, the nurse adjusts the ORBIT PT top to the correct height and initiates the conveyance surface that transfers the patient from the bed to the ORBIT PT. Laser Stops safely maintain the patient in position on the ORBIT PT until the mobile OR table is properly positioned on the clean side of the ORBIT PT. Once the OR table is locked in place, the nurse completes the transfer of the patient to the OR table via remote control or control panel.
