May 2, 2008 - PerkinElmer Optoelectronics acquired VaConics, a producer of high intensity xenon arc lamps, adding technology, design expertise and product depth to PerkinElmer’s medical lighting business, said the company.
The move is designed to further build upon PerkinElmer’s position in the endoscopy and surgical headlamp markets with its Cermax Xenon lighting products.
