May 28, 2008 – Precision Dynamics Corp. (PDC) has teamed with Patient Safety & Quality Health Care Magazine to recognize and reward hospitals through a contest for taking measures to better protect patients through innovative products and procedures.
Submissions are being sought for the hospital with the top patient success story, as chosen by a select judging committee. PDC will award $10,000 to the winning hospital’s foundation, which has the best-submitted patient safety success story at their facility. A committee will judge the stories and the top stories will be published. The contest is open now until Aug. 4, 2008 to all hospitals and healthcare facilities in the U.S.
On Nov. 10 the winning story, along with three honorees, will be announced. Rewards and recognition include one winner receiving $10,000 for their 501(c)(3) foundation, and three honorees receiving $1,000 in PDC wristband products.
