December 4, 2009 – Offering new features and functionality that raise the level of clinical productivity, Konica Minolta released its ImagePilot 1.3 computed radiography software version during RSNA 2009.
Improvements to the base software include extended patient record search capabilities for more efficient access to priors, multistudy acquisition, improved patient CD authoring, prompted image labeling, and a doubling of the number of workstations that can run the software. New optional features are designed to provide workflow enhancements, including DICOM query/retrieve, a worklist toolkit that streamlines patient registration and study labeling, and JPEG2000 compression capabilities for remote viewing. Additional features are a higher resolution option, from 175 to 87.5 microns, high-speed scanning for higher throughput and additional concurrent user licenses.
Designed specifically for private practice clinics, ImagePilot makes the transition from analog film to digital imaging quick and effortless by combining multiple digital imaging functions into one intuitive, easy-to-use system, eliminating the need for a separate
PACS.
